EricsportraitEric Gordon, CEO

Originally from Virginia, Eric Gordon's mother was an artist and his father, an architect. Eric became interested in photography as both an art and science at a very early age. This became a lifelong persuit after interning with "National Geographic" and assisting with photoshoots of Mayan ruins in the Yucatan in the 1970's.

Eric graduated from Brooks Institute of Photography in 1986, worked in New York City for some of the top names in the business such as Steven Meisel, Richard Avedon, Yosef Karsh, and Eric Meola. Also educated in Architecture and Structural Engineering at Virginia Tech, Eric moved to Santa Barbara and launched ePrep Services, Inc. to provide technical and creative skills to the marketing and advertising professionals on the South Coast. This was during the digital revolution occurring throughout the imaging, printing, and graphics industries; and time and again, Eric's ePrep Services was an invaluable resource for all graphics professionals throughout the area and across the country.

With over 25 years professional experience in photography, scanning, digital imaging, color management, offset lithography, pre-press, large format printing, fine-art capture and reproduction; Eric and the team at ePrep Services, Inc. have had a hand in the successful marketing campaigns of South Coast businesses from small ad agencies and manufacturers to well known multi-billion dollar corporations.

Eric lives with his wife, Valerie Oesterling, and their daughter, Wylder Rose, in Goleta, California.

Scott McClaine, photographer

Scott grew up in Northern California, and bought his first camera at the age of 11. After bringing the camera along on a family vacation in the summer of his 12th year, the relationship between the camera, his world view, and his sanity became apparent. The final diagnosis dictated that photography remain as his primary pursuit from that point on.

After building a darkroom on what, according to his landlord, should have remained the deck of his Isla Vista apartment, he received his Bachelors Degree at the University of California at Santa Barbara.

Using a darkroom constructed in what should have been his laundry room, he received a Masters Degree in Photographic Technology from the Brooks Institute of Photography in 1990.

Scott has been an avid cyclist for most of his life, so he brought his cameras on a 5,500 mile bike ride through Tibet.

After building a darkroom and studio overlooking The Adult Book Store in Santa Barbara's Funk Zone, Scott has spent the past twenty years photographing antiquities and objects of art for collectors, publishers, artists and museums world wide; dedicating his photographic free time to alternative processes and technology, particularly those relating to photography as an art form.

Currently, he is still photographing art in all it’s infinite forms, with an emphasis on shoes.

Scott lives in Santa Barbara with his 10 year old son and life coach Rylan Cade McClaine, and together they take photos, ride bikes, go bowling, and play an unhealthy amount of baseball all over Southern California. It’s a hoot.
